This Privacy Policy explains how Jewish Projects (“Jewish Projects”, “we”, “us”), Israeli Business Registration No. 056530462, 3 HaEgoz Street, Kiryat Ono, Israel 5551445, handles personal information collected through JewishProjects.org (the “Site”).
1. Information we collect
- The Sunday Letter: first name, email address and country.
- Contact form: name, email, country, organization (optional), the topic you select and your message.
- Usage and campaign data: pages visited, referring site, approximate location, device and browser type, and campaign parameters (such as utm_source or utm_campaign) included in the link you followed. We use privacy-focused analytics and, where enabled, Google Analytics.
2. How we use it
- To send The Sunday Letter, which you requested.
- To respond to your message or partnership inquiry.
- To understand how visitors find and use the Site, and to improve our content and outreach.
- To protect the Site against abuse and spam.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Email and unsubscribing
Every Sunday Letter includes an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click, or by writing to us at the address below. Our email platform may record opens and clicks to help us improve the newsletter.
4. Service providers
We use trusted providers to operate the Site and our communications — for example website hosting and analytics (Vercel; Google Analytics where enabled), a database (Supabase) that stores Sunday Letter signups and contact messages, our email newsletter platform and our email delivery service. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services. Your information may be processed outside your country, including in Israel, the United States and the European Union.
5. Donations and linked websites
Donations are made on JGive, a separate donation platform, and are subject to JGive’s own privacy policy. The Site also links to independent websites, including Phoenix Communities and Western Wall Prayer, and to social networks. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
6. Cookies and local storage
We use minimal browser storage to remember how you arrived at the Site (campaign attribution) and analytics technologies to measure visits. You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings.
7. Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, the EU/UK GDPR and U.S. state laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
