Founder and CEO
Chanan Ziderman, Israeli-born, brings to Jewish Projects remarkable passion for social challenges and extensive experience of over 30 years in the fields of resource development, marketing, international public relations. Among other accomplishments, Chanan founded and managed the “Computer for Each Child” program to its success and served as president for the “Round Table Israel” organization.
Chanan, a former military commando fighter and a major in reserve duty, is a graduate of Netiv Meir Yeshiva and completed BA studies in geography and international relations at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Chanan is married with four children, and lives in Kiryat Ono, Israel.
Aaron S. Tirschwell
External Relations Coordinator
Throughout his entire professional life,Aaron has been about the betterment of non-profit organizations. He has held many ExecutiveDirector positions in the United States and Israel with a focus on administration, planning, and fundraising. Originally from New Jersey, Aaron and his family made Aliyah to Efrat over 10 years ago. Aaron holds a Masters degree in public administration from New York University and a bachelors and rabbinic degrees from Yeshiva University.
Translator and Information Coordinator
Ilana Goodman has been working as a freelance Hebrew<>English translator for over 22 years, in a wide variety of fields. She has translated several books, mainly autobiographies of the Holocaust.
About 5 years ago Ilana entered the world of social media and acquired expertise in the research and preparation of texts for printed and online publications.
Ilana holds a BA in criminology and a post-graduate degree in translating, both from Bar Ilan University. Originally from South Africa, Ilana has been living in Israel for 38 years and multitasks her profession with being a “WAHM” and raising her five children.
Yoav Benzoor is a creative director with vast experience in visual communications (design, advertising, branding, etc.) and all areas of creative and media.
He holds a BA degree from the Academy of Art in San Francisco.
Yoav is the owner of Freelance Center Studio.
Video and Photograph Editor
Isaac Sverdlov, 40 years old, married + 2, is a high-quality video and photograph editor. He is a graduate of animation and editing at the Jump Cut College in Tel Aviv and movie and television production at Ma’ale School in Jerusalem.
Isaac provides professional services in all fields of media – video photography and editing (image clips, lectures and conventions, documentaries, musical clips and after effects), animation (Flash, Maya, presentations and maps) and recordings and sound editing (studio recordings, voice-over, dubbing and sound improvements, music and soundtracks).
Isaac is fluent in Hebrew, English and Russian.
Yael Lasry is an online marketing consultant, who knows all aspects of Internet and social networks. She is a blogger and the author of over 130 articles on the "Use of Facebook for Professional Purposes."
Yael Lasry has 13 years of experience working with the Internet, giving her access to all the ins and outs of this vast world: Web programming, online project management for non-profit associations, high-tech companies and web agencies, classified sites, social networks, selecting a server, and using Google for Advanced Services (Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Google Adsense, Google Optimizer).
Yotam Ben Chamo
Yotam holds a BA in economics and business administration and is a graduate of the Centre for Local Government. He served as the director of recruiting budgets and business development at a financial consultancy company, heading a team of advisors.
Yotam has extensive experience and knowledge in preparing and submitting tenders, implementing budgets, executing large-scale financial leveraging processes, and assisting local and municipal authorities and non-profit organizations in recruiting tens of millions of Dollars a year.
Yotam has experience in preparing professional opinions and developing streamlining products for individuals and corporations.
Yehiel grew up in Otniel. He is married and has four children.
He builds websites and Facebook pages mainly for Yeshivas and non-profits organizations, etc.
Yehiel also works in the technical field, solving computer problems.
